The latest update for Wordpress, 2.5.1, was released on April 25, 2008.  Included are several bug fixes, as well as an important security update.  There are also performance enhancements included in this update.  According to Wordpress.org, this update includes a whopping 70 fixes.  You can read the full list of bug fixes and performance enhancements here.  Download Wordpress 2.5.1 here.
