Everyone already knows about the big bad iPhone 3G and if you have one, ‘m very happy for you. But because I live in the mountains, we don’t have AT&T! It’s a travesty. But I do happen to have a 16GB iPod Touch and I have recently installed the 2.0 software update. This update has many new features, the biggest being support for the App Store. If you haven’t updated, you need to - it’ll feel like you have a brand new device!

I’ve been exploring the App Store quite a bit and I’ve found some very useful applications. Not all of them will cost money, either. There are also plenty of games. I’ve found a very nice game under the free section called Aurora Feint. If you like bejeweled type games or PuzzleQuest, you’ll love this game. It makes excellent use of the accelerometer, has great graphics, and excellent sound. I highly recommend checking this one out.
